Ameco Flexible Packaging Baricol Launches New Seal

Amcor Flexible Packaging Baricol launched BARIPET Florida for 45 new high-gloss foil barrier film containers for glossy barriers.

These containers are increasingly being used to pack meat, fish, ready-to-eat foods and vegetables. They can be reused and are welcomed by consumers because they use conventional ovens very conveniently.

BARIPET FL 45 has performed well for commercial use in the UK and has attracted a great deal of interest from food packaging.

The new sealing film is a combination of extrusion coating and resin, including EVOH PET film. Extrusion coating is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative laminate that does not require adhesives or solvents. The new movie is very clear and only 45 microns thick, so the product has a lightweight alternative to the competition in the market.

BARIPET FL 45 is just a range of new and innovative films and is now being developed by AF Baricol in its factory Takahashi, Somerset (UK). The company offers high-barrier solutions that are widely used in food packaging technology that is tailor-made. These film extrusions are used for coating or co-extruded packaging products such as bakery and frozen ready-to-eat foods, meats and cheeses.
