This apartment has a floor plan of approximately 81 square meters, featuring two bedrooms, two living areas, one kitchen, and one bathroom. The main living area is a spacious 7-meter-deep open room. To make the most of this area, the interior designers created a separate walk-in cloakroom near the entrance.

Originally, the entrance area was used as a dining space, with the living room located behind it. To maximize the living area’s functionality, the designer introduced a walk-in closet at the entry point. By reconfiguring the wall between the cloakroom and the dining room and using a folding door, they created a 1.5m x 1.1m x 1.65m space that’s fully utilized. This narrow walk-in closet was designed with a U-shape, featuring a row of cabinets on one side and simple hanging rails on both ends for clothing. Opposite the cloakroom, a built-in shoe cabinet was added, while the remaining space between the cloakroom and the dining room was filled with additional storage units. This approach ensures the entire area remains organized and functional.
Such a design is ideal for homes with ample living space, where the size of the walk-in closet can be adjusted based on available room. In this example, the closet only takes up about 1.1 meters of the living room’s length, allowing the rest of the space to remain unobstructed.
