Study on the Special Adhesive for Alcohol-soluble Polyurethane Coating on Aluminum (II)

As a manufacturer of alcohol-soluble two-component polyurethane adhesives, Huzhou Europe and the United States Chemical Co., Ltd., its company R & D center based on the characteristics of the aluminum film and the characteristics of alcohol-soluble adhesives, starting from the adhesive reaction mechanism, carried out the molecular On the structural adjustment, this swollen adhesive not only retains the advantages of the alcohol-soluble adhesive, but also achieves the effect of avoiding the transfer of the aluminum layer of the aluminized film. The author conducted experiments on the above two varieties. The experimental results are as follows:

Experimental equipment and materials: OPP printing, VMCPP, VMPET, dry laminating machine, network roller (120#, 60μ), tensile machine.

Experimental process: glue concentration 30% and 25%, compound pressure 4KG, three-stage drying temperature 60°C, 70°C, 80°C, compound temperature 60°C, machine speed 85m/min, aging temperature 40°C, aging time 48 hours.

Phenomenon: A small amount of local aluminum transfer, no white spots at the ink.

Summary: It can be seen from this that alcohol-soluble binders with a dry base of 2.0 g/m2 can effectively eliminate white spots and have a higher composite strength. In view of the application cost, due to the low coating amount, the final use cost is effectively reduced by about 15%, bringing real benefits to the users.
