With high costs and difficulties, it is urgent for the country to develop new packaging materials.

Wood-based panels are boards or molded products made of wood or other non-wood plants as a raw material, separated into various unit materials by a certain mechanical processing, and glued or not applied with adhesives and other additives. It mainly consists of three major types of products: plywood, shavings, and fiberboard.

Its advantages are: First, the pressure-resistance and load-bearing qualities of the man-made board packaging box are second only to the solid wood packaging box, and it is the first choice for packaging of high-weight goods on the market. Second, the board area is large, the structure is good, and the operation process is simple. Therefore, the sealing property and the waterproof property are good. Third, the export of faux-plywood packaging boxes is free of fumigation and can be exported directly. The procedures are simple and convenient. Fourth, the surface is smooth and easy to print text.

The disadvantage is that the adhesive layer will be aged, the long-term carrying capacity is poor, and the service life is shorter than the solid wood. It is cheaper than solid wood and plastic boards, but it is higher than corrugated paper and honeycomb paper.

Honeycomb paper core composite board is made up of upper and lower two-layer paper linerboard or single-layer corrugated board or artificial board with strong resistance to piercing, and the middle layer of hexagonal honeycomb paper core is glued together. Honeycomb cardboard boxes have many outstanding advantages:

1, high strength. Because of its unique mechanical structure, honeycomb paper core has strong compressive and bending resistance. Tests have shown that the paper is made into a honeycomb. The compression strength of the facade is 100 times that of the other party. One gram of honeycomb paper can withstand 800 grams of gravity without deformation, 20-75.6 times that of five-layer corrugated cardboard.

2, elastic, shockproof performance is good. Both sides of the box board are soft, so it is suitable for shipping lightweight high-grade valuable fragile goods within 1kg to 150kg, which can replace the five-layer corrugated cardboard box.

At present, this super strong honeycomb paperboard is not used in China.

4, light weight. Due to the structural characteristics of the honeycomb paperboard, the material used is only the same area. The same thickness of 3 to 6% of the solid board, the weight of the honeycomb paperboard is only 2/3 of the weight of the same specification corrugated cardboard box, about the same size wooden box weight 1 /3.

5, low cost. Since honeycomb paperboard has less paper than corrugated paperboard, honeycomb paper core can use cheap recycled paper (grass paddle paper), available wheat straw and straw as raw materials and resources are very rich, so that the cost of honeycomb paperboard box is only the same as the thickness of corrugated cardboard boxes. 2/3 of the cost and 1/3 of the cost of the wooden board box.

6, will not pollute the environment. The disadvantage of the honeycomb cardboard packaging box is that for the pure honeycomb cardboard box with cardboard on both sides, the box boards have poor anti-jamming capability; fear of rain and rain, and need to be sheltered during storage and transportation.
