China's ink industry is developing rapidly. Many products are not mature enough.

In the current situation of many chemical products, the ink market has shown a trend of rising across the board, and the prices of the four major ink products are on the rise. Among them, the price of ordinary offset printing ink, which accounts for 50% of the market share, is 25,000-35000 yuan (ton price, the same below), up 10% year-on-year; gravure ink is 16000-25000 yuan, up 5% year-on-year; mesh ink is 45000-10500 Yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5%; flexo ink was 20,000 to 30,000 yuan, an increase of 3%.

The data show that in recent years, China's ink manufacturing industry has developed rapidly. In 2010, the total output of ink in the country was 589,900 tons, surpassing Germany and Japan, ranking second in the world. In 2011, China's ink and similar products manufacturing industry achieved a total industrial output value of more than 30.5 billion yuan, an increase of 17% over the previous year; sales reached more than 30.3 billion yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. The industry generally believes that China's ink industry is in the golden period of development.

According to experts from the China Investment Consulting Industry Research Center, there are two main reasons for the rapid growth of the ink industry: First, the great development of China's printing market has directly pushed the ink manufacturing industry into a period of rapid development; second, the global ink manufacturer has In the late 1980s, it began to invest capital and technology in China, established production bases and expanded its product market. The structure of China's ink industry has undergone changes, and the product structure has been adjusted and innovated to increase the production capacity of ink.

The reporter learned that the world's ink manufacturers such as Sun Chemical, Toyo Ink, Flint Ink, and Donghua Ink have established ink production plants in China, while domestic veteran ink companies Shanghai Peony, Coswood Ink, and Zhejiang New Oriental Ink, Emerging companies such as Bolet inks are also growing at a rate of 10% per year.

In the past ten years, the quality and quantity of ink products in China have undergone tremendous changes, but China is still a developing country, and the per capita consumption of printed matter is still very low, only 5% of the per capita consumption of developed countries. The amount used is also very low. In the next 5 to 10 years, China's national economy will continue to develop at a relatively high speed, and the development of ink is also obvious.

In the short term, it is impossible to completely separate the printing from traditional crafts. Some experts have pointed out that traditional inks have at least 30 years of development in China, Germany, Japan and other countries. In the next 30 years, the main development direction of the world ink is water-based ink, UV ink, vegetable oil ink and so on. Water-based ink is environmentally friendly, low-toxic, non-flammable, and the cost is lower than solvent ink. It is the darling of the future market. UV ink is mainly used in the cigarette package decoration printing industry. It has the characteristics of fast drying speed, excellent color and gloss, and good fixing ability, but it has high cost and certain toxicity, and is not suitable for long-term operation of printing workers. However, with the innovation of ink technology, water-based UV inks have appeared in the market, which has improved the environmental protection of the original UV inks. At present, China's UV inks have a gap of 10 to 15 years compared with Germany and Japan, and they need to catch up.

The vegetable oil series inks are now in the development stage all over the world. The inks contain vegetable oil components, such as linseed oil, soybean oil, etc., which can replace petroleum components. For example, Suzhou Bolai Te Ink Co., Ltd. launched a pure vegetable oil-based ink in 2011. Tianjin Toyo Ink Co., Ltd. just launched a series of 100% vegetable oil ink products in April, which does not contain any petroleum series solvents, and will not produce VOC. Hot.

At present, the main subject of China's ink is to adapt to the development of digital technology. From the Drupa International Printing Exhibition held in May 2012, the future printing is undoubtedly based on digital printing. Digital printing has reduced the number of plates, but it is still inseparable from ink. Printing inks are mainly inkjet and water-based inks. The digital printing industry is just emerging as an emerging industry. Many products are not yet mature. For example, water-based inks have poor adhesion on printed paper products and are not bright enough. Because of this, China and developed countries are basically at the same starting line, and the development space is relatively large.

The industry believes that in the next few years, the development of China's ink industry, in addition to increasing products, should focus on adjusting product structure, increase production concentration, increase research and development efforts, improve technology content, product quality, product stability, and make it Adapt to the needs of today's multi-color, high-speed, fast-drying, pollution-free and low-consumption modern printing.
