In the normal printing process, if there is a phenomenon that the paper is cracked, you should first look for the cause of the failure and carefully inspect the tearing of the paper. In general, the tearing of the mouth is nothing more than three phenomena:
1 The edges of the paper were continuously torn and remained in place. This phenomenon is generally caused by improper handling of the paper feed teeth and drum teeth, or improper adjustment of the paper feed teeth and drum teeth.
2 Not all paper sheets are torn apart, but several sheets of torn paper are spaced at regular intervals. This is a regular phenomenon. This phenomenon is generally found on the receiving tooth row.
3 When the paper breaks, the break is large, small, good, and irregular. This phenomenon is caused by improper adjustment of the paper feeder or inappropriate adjustment of the front gauge. The causes of the three types of failures and their exclusion methods are analyzed as follows:
1. The edges of the paper were continuously torn and the position remained unchanged. If this failure occurs, we must find the reason on the delivery tooth and drum teeth.
1 Open the slow car and carefully observe the process of transferring the paper between the paper handing teeth and the big teeth, to see if it is due to the slow time of the teeth of the paper handing teeth or the insufficient opening degree of the teeth, which may cause tearing of the paper edge. Solution: Check whether the tooth bumps of the paper-feeding teeth are worn. If they are worn, repair welding or replace new ones, and make careful adjustments. The requirement is that when the paper handing the paper to the impression roller big teeth, the paper handing teeth and drum teeth at the same time control the distance of the paper shall not be greater than 3mm, generally 2mm is appropriate.
2 Because the large tooth base of the drum is screwed into a round hole, the opening degree of the large teeth of the drum is not enough. When the delivery tooth and the big tooth are transferred to the paper, the paper edge touches the drum tooth and tears. Solution: If only one or more tooth bases are damaged by the top silk, repair welding can be done on the machine. If there is more damage at the top, you need to remove the new ones.
(3) The connection between the holder shaft and the pulley holder of the drum teeth is loose, causing the time for the drum teeth to be too slow or the opening degree of the teeth not enough to tear the edge of the paper. Solution: Check whether the pin at the connection is loose or cut. If it is loose, it can be re-pinned. If it is cut, it needs to be replaced with a new pin.
4 The distance between the tooth pad of the paper handing tooth and the side of the impression cylinder is not adjusted properly, and the distance between the tooth pad of the paper handing tooth and the side of the impression cylinder is not good enough, causing the edge of the paper edge to tear, and the distance is too far to make the impression cylinder pick up paper. Break the edges of the paper. Solution: Carefully adjust the distance between the transfer tooth pad and the edge of the embossing roller. Generally, the distance between the two should be adjusted to 0.5 mm (the thickness of the card should be two to three times the thickness of the paper).
5 The open teeth of the delivery teeth are worn, the time for opening teeth is slowed down, and the distance between teeth is too small to tear the paper. The solution is to remove the open bumps by welding or replacing new ones.
2. The edges of the paper were regularly torn, and the number of sheets in the center gap was just the number of feed rows. This situation is generally caused by improper adjustment of the delivery tooth row. Solution: Open the slow car carefully observe the consistency of the teeth of each tooth. Then adjust, and then try driving paper to see if there are tearing phenomenon.
3. There is no regular paper breakage at the mouth of the paper, and when the break is wide and narrow, this phenomenon is generally caused by improper adjustment of the paper feeder or the front gauge, and should be found on the paper feeder.
1 Carefully observe if the tape tension of the feeder is the same.
2 Drive to see if the feed line pulley can rotate flexibly.
3 Open the local train to see if the time to reach the front gauge is appropriate (the general requirement is that when the current gauge reaches the receiving position, the distance between the front edge of the paper margin is 8~10mm), and if it is not appropriate, adjust it.
4 Carefully check whether the height of the front gauge meets the requirements (the general requirement is that when the current gauge reaches the receiving position, three sheets of paper can be put into the printed paper, and slight resistance is appropriate when pulling).
