Tubular filling machine design continues to evolve

Germany's German Iveca Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. recently introduced a new tubular filling machine and a newly designed series of carton machine products. In order to meet the latest requirements of customers, such as quicker regeneration switching time, friendliness, easy cleanliness and high production speed, the new TFS 80-2 tubular filling machine has been continuously improved and developed over the past two years. The TFS 80-2 now has dual filling heads and fills up to 160 aluminum/plastic/composite tubes per minute to meet these requirements.

This machine designed a diagonal circular track. The principle of this system is to move the empty tube to the cup in the horizontal plane to simplify the transfer process. The tubes are then pulled into a vertical position where all the potting and packing components are lined up. These components are easily handled from the back of the machine during cleaning and adjustment. This machine can be sealed with metal and plastic pipes.

According to the design concept of 13 servomotors used by Iveca, all mechanical drives on the machine have actually been deleted. The operation of the machine is controlled by an integrated industrial computer with a friendly user touch screen control panel and Microsoft Windows operating system. The use of industrial computers instead of programmable logic controls (PLCs) will give users more convenience, not only to control the operation of the machine, but also to allow all key adjustment points to be driven by servo systems, such as batching systems, filling heads. The action, the filling head closing system, and the tube lifting and tapping system when switching the product and tube specification through the touch screen.

In addition to the setting of machine parameters on the operating screen, the industrial computer supports the query of operating manuals. As an option, the machine's troubleshooting and repair features will be useful to consumers. The industrial computer can also be directly connected to the company's service center through the Internet to implement online real-time technical support services.

After filling and sealing, the tube is returned to the horizontal platform and slowly and accurately fed into the carton packer's shelf. The packaging machine is connected to the tube filling machine to achieve a short and compact tube filling production line. TFS 80-2 meets and exceeds all relevant GMP requirements and is an ideal tube feeder for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries. Like the company's other bottling machines, the product's contacts are made of stainless steel. All operating areas of the TFS 80-2 are also covered with stainless steel. The conveyors of the new intermittent or continuous cartoning machines are equipped with 1-inch pitch chains for easy maintenance, as well as special chain guides for automatic chain tensioning. And use the shaft and digital counter to adjust the width of the box. The height of the pre-inserted blade can be adjusted centrally when the instructions are pre-inserted. The circular carton handling system pre-disassembles the carton before it is inserted into the carton delivery chain and opens completely. The carton is placed on the plastic base surface and does not slide on the plastic base surface, so it will not wear or nick on the high-strength cosmetic industrial carton.
