Energy-saving design of energy-saving ubiquitous stacker

The Universal Corrugated company in the Netherlands has consistently provided dry equipment for the corrugated board and single pulp board industry for more than half a century. Recently, Universal Corrugated and Micromatik have introduced a new series of new cadre equipment.

The core task of this project is to provide energy-saving, high-efficiency and high-quality improved designs for all kinds of office equipment using the Universal Corrugated high-speed stacker. The improved design starts with the fixed-point tool section with the vacuum feed conveyor and the patented Anti-Skew delivery conveyor. The knife conveyor replaces the traditional cutter puller and operates at minimum overspeed. The traction roller section gap at the end of the tool conveyor ensures that the cardboard edge is straight. The vacuum cardboard edge adjustment conveyor and the HS separation system ensure that the cardboard is accurately separated and the cardboard is transported to the stacker.

In addition to the stacker, Universal Corrugated has also recently developed a stacker stacker. The conveyor belt of the stacker stacker will slowly rise according to the cardboard transport. And because the stacking transmission and the return of the transmission belt can be performed in situ at the same time, the stacking speed of the stacker stacker is faster than that of the stacker, which saves manpower and material resources and stacking time.

Improved stacker

With the increasing demand for microwatt products and coated corrugated board in the market, the stacker performance and stacking program also need to be increased accordingly. The new "fixed cardboard line" conveyor reduces the stack height and gives better transport of cardboard to the baffle. The large-diameter rubber-driven end rollers on the stacker have been replaced by two small-diameter rollers and the stack height has dropped to 17mm.

The FPL conveyor incorporates a laser photocell for optimized fall time. The FPL conveyor has now become a standard on the stacker and can be used in conjunction with any existing stacker. After the improvement, the stacker is faster and the quality is better.

The improved stacking station can be used in conjunction with stacker lifts and plastic chain transfer systems to achieve high quality stacking, and the stacking process can also be continued onto the conveyor. The plastic chain conveyor system prevents the phenomenon of "footprints of elephants" and damages to the stacked cardboard. Universal's parent Minda Industrieanlagen participated in the innovation of the equipment, helping to further improve the raw material processing capacity and improve logistics solutions.

The fixed cardboard line conveyor system is controlled by TwinCAT software from Beckhoff GmbH, Germany. The control system's Profibus is connected to a three-stage motor and the Lightbus is connected to the Bus Terminal and the finished cartons. Change the traditional monitoring device to touch the control panel. The intelligent PC control system adopts Windows 2000 operating system and combines with Beckhoff software to support various software tools to achieve optimal application effects. As a result, the maximum processing speed of the trunk equipment using the stacker can reach 400 meters per minute, and there is no stop order to switch 300 meters per minute.
