Ordinary UHMWPE can only use piston extrusion or compression molding while Techmer Lehvoss Compounds' new grade is extruded or injection molded using conventional equipment. These grades provide good abrasion resistance, surface cleaning, self-lubricating and hardness.

Extruded 6000 series alloys are also often used for machined products, which show very good machinability. These alloys can be easily anodised where hard surfaces, good corrosion resistance and high strength are required. The 6000 series alloys like 6061, 6063 also have excellent corrosion resistance and have good formability and are weldable.
