Employers in the textile and leather industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina sign a minimum wage agreement with the trade unions

The Bosnia-Herzegovina Business Daily reported that employers of the textile and leather processing industry of the Republika Srpska signed an agreement with the textile, leather and footwear unions of Republika Srpska to provide a minimum wage of 117 marks and implement it on February 1 this year. The Republika Srpska Chamber of Commerce says there are 15,000 employees in the industry and in such a difficult situation. At the end of last year, employers and trade unions have repeatedly told the Cypriot government about the worrying situation in the sector. They hope the premier will amend the income tax law and abolish the import duty on raw materials.
