Additionally, thanks to the use of intelligent methods, the driver supports multi-threading and safe operations, enabling parallel testing. It also features powerful simulation functions, allowing developers to test programs without connecting actual instruments. The driver’s operation is only related to the test function, not the specific interface bus used by the instrument. A single initialization function, InitwithOptions, is used to distinguish between different instrument interfaces and geographical locations. In summary, by adopting a series of intelligent automation techniques, virtual instruments have overcome previous limitations such as low efficiency, inconsistent programming styles, difficulty in development, and maintenance challenges.
