Now how about hardware installation?

1. There are two micro-switches SW1 and SW2 on the CF2010A to select the frequency division of the crystal and crystal. The original Canon LBP-BXII was selected. The user of the JX video interface printer must make this setting:

a. The OSC2 fixed crystal (33.33MHZ) is already provided on the card for the LBP-BX and BXII printers currently used by users. In this case, place the SW1 switch in the OSC2 position.

b. If the printer is a Canon LBP-JX laser printer, the crystal oscillator 25MHZ or 50MHZ should be inserted in the OSC1 position, and the SW1 switch should be placed in the OSC1 position.

c. The switch SW2 can select different frequency division numbers depending on the configuration of the video printer.

d. For printers other than Canon LBP video laser printers, such as the HP-4VC, HP5000, HP5000LE, and the Wenge A5000, parallel-port lasers, the crystal and SW1 and SW2 switch settings can be ignored.

2. Turn off the power to the host.

3. Insert the CF2010A card into one of the host's PCI slots.

4. For Canon LBP series laser printers, the printer must be connected to a PCI card using a dedicated video cable that matches the card. (The original FZ2000 cable cannot be used).

5. For parallel printers such as the HP-5000 or the Aviva A5000, keep the original cable unchanged.

6. Turn on the laser printer power supply and computer switch.
