Martini bolero binding machine

Martini plans to exhibit its latest Bolero Medium format perfect binder at this exhibition. Bolero may be the most complex one perfect binder produced by Martini. It integrates a variety of experiences and technologies and is an all-round system for printing companies and bookbinding companies.

First, Bolero can use standard hot melt adhesives, but PUR and cold glue can also be used. This 8,000-speed machine can staple books from 1/8 inch to 31/8 inch. It has three configurations of 21 clips, 26 clips, and 31 clips. Martini's command interface can fully automate this unit. It accepts standard CIP4 data, including JDF files. All clips are fixed by an automatic rack and pinion transmission.

The Bolero binding machine increases the level of spine preparation (spiking) work in four steps. In addition to the basic horizontal edging, it also has an independent spine preparation (ridge-up) tool that removes excess fiber from the edge of the book and it also has a flattening device. After starting, an automatic brush will remove the paper powder on the book block before sticking the book back.

Bolero has a variety of gluing options - hot melt adhesives, cold glue requiring infrared drying, "primer" and secondary hot melt adhesives as well as PUR required for hardcover books.

Bolero can also be used online with a bookcase or some pre-aggregated components.

Martini has a roll-type cover input device for handling covers with folding inserts, and also has an online folding insert attachment. All in all, it is a good choice for bookmakers and binders.
