Regarding the plate standard, the market generally refers to two levels, and the E and F grades are foreign standards.

Class E is a general term for defining the formaldehyde content of plates in the world and is now the unified standard for European countries.

The F grade is derived from Japan and is divided into four grades, which is relatively higher than the E grade standard.

It can be seen that the higher the standard, the lower the formaldehyde content. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the European Union, the United States, and Japan have continuously updated the formaldehyde emission limit standards for wood-based panels and their products, and put forward higher requirements for formaldehyde emission limits.

For many years, China has been using the "release limit of formaldehyde in wood-based panels and their products for interior decoration materials" (GB18580-2001). The new standard implemented since May 1, 2018 is the only change so far.
