Lexmark Introduces High-Performance Color and New Applications

On November 30th, 2004, Lexmark launched a new generation of color laser technology, which added a printing tool for high-value document printing users, providing users with faster printing speed, simpler printing operations, and high-quality Print results and lower printing costs.

The Lexmark C760 and Lexmark C762 products are powerful and flexible workgroup devices with excellent performance and high print quality. These products can not only meet the current and future printing needs, but also can achieve multi-function printing, providing investment protection for customers.

Hou Wuming, Managing Director of Lexmark China Greater China, said: "The combination of high-speed color output and low-cost implementation of multi-function color printing is the most compelling value concept in the color printing market. The team was able to use this highly reliable technology to complete the most demanding color printing jobs, and administrators were also surprised at the ease of use and low cost of ownership of these printers."

The new Lexmark C760 and C762 color printers have built-in 4800 CQ technology, which can provide up to 25ppm print speed in both color and monochrome modes. To help customers control utilization and reduce printing costs, both printers have built-in unique ColorCare technology to provide a variety of cost-saving color management tools. In addition, Color Print Permissions is a new feature applied to printers that allows administrators to control the cost of color printing by identifying authorized users. Along with these two new machines, there are three new solutions, including anti-counterfeiting measures, banner printing and outdoor media printing solutions, and simple authentication card printing applications.

Anti-counterfeiting: Lexmark's anti-counterfeiting application combines UV printing technology with proprietary software to print confidential documents. Color laser printers use special toner and have a special verification mark that is visible under special lighting. This application technology can be used on the Lexmark C912 color laser printer.

Outdoor Media: Lexmark has developed a printing solution that resists the eroding effects of airborne impurities and applies it to retail stores for outdoor signage. These logos can be used for on-site promotions to increase sales.

Authentication Card: An application technology developed by Lexmark that enables companies to print the required high-quality employee and visitor credentials at low cost. Unlike inkjet printer solutions that print slowly, are easily contaminated, and cannot be used with photographs, color laser applications can print high quality images on multiple durable media at a time.

Mr. Christophe, Lexmark's color printer solution and service manager for the Asia-Pacific region, stated: “The cost of using the new application technology is 20 times cheaper than using traditional professional technologies. We forecast that the Asia Pacific region will become an increase in demand for enterprise output application development. Leading areas. For example, anti-counterfeiting applications are developed based on the requirements of Chinese customers and are now sold worldwide."

Lexmark has already opened the Print Solution Demonstration Center (PASS) in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore, and plans to open a demonstration point demonstration center in Australia and Malaysia recently. The purpose is to allow users to experience Lexmark's application to the industry. Various types of printing solutions.
