Arjo Wiggins' unique STES (Synthetic Damaged Substrate) substrate can give users a double level of safety with a single label: a very easily damaged substrate clearly shows damaged traces, while the invisible fluorescent properties are invisible to the naked eye. Can be detected by black light authenticity.

Another unique base combines four levels of anti-counterfeiting features on the same label.
