Irregular overprint on both sides

After a period of time, a new J2108B offset press purchased by our factory was used to print a batch of color printing products with higher quality requirements.

In response to this failure, we checked the level of the previous regulations, side regulations, and working hours and found that they were all normal. Afterwards, the stress and the transfer time of the paper-feeding teeth and the embossing grippers were examined with emphasis. Where is the problem? When we are about to inspect further than the abnormal noise heard in the chassis of the transmission. Then, open the chassis and check that the rollers on the front gauge cam can swing a certain angle. We judged that the roller's inner bearing was broken. After removing the roller, the balls of the two inner bearings were damaged. It turns out that when the highest point of the current western wheel is in contact with the roller, it is precisely the moment when the former rule stops on the paper feed table to stabilize the paper. Due to the damage of the inner bearing of the roller, the front gauge is unstable when the paper is stabilized on the table, but it is difficult to see with the naked eye, resulting in irregular overprint on both sides in the longitudinal direction.

The repair method is very simple: just remove the roller, remove the bad bearing, replace with two new bearings. Install the new bearing at the end of our trial team everything is normal, the fault was ruled out.

Based on my experience with new machines, I discovered that newly purchased machines have sometimes broken or damaged machine parts such as springs and bearings over a period of time. Therefore, more attention should be paid when printing.
