Haldyn plans to build a 100-ton glass furnace, which will meet the market's demand for colorless glass, colored glass bottles and cosmetic packaging glass bottles.
The group already has a production base of 165 tons of glass containers per day at Village Gavasad. The factory mainly produces amber and transparent glass containers. The products are widely used in various pharmaceutical products, chemicals, wine bottles, beverage bottles and other glass packaging industries. The factory is now producing transparent glass bottles for nail polish, perfume, and hair oil packaging.
The project will invest 320 million Rs, and will be built in the third week of March 2008. The source of construction funds will be loans from the Industrial Development Bank of India and the National Bank of India.
